Brixton to Brighton update

3 comments 09:06PM Wed, 12th September 2012

The Brixton to Brighton BMX charity ride is just around the corner. The guys at LTD State have put the work into organising this event along with help from our friends over at Segment Clothing all in aid of supporting Stephen Murray and Stay Strong.

A posse in the region 0f 70-100 BMXers will set off together from Brixton skatepark on Saturday 22nd of September putting in 55 miles some on modified vessels and others running it stock with high seatposts. The donations have been amazing so far, some riders sponsorship forms have pulled in figures over and around £1,000 from friends and work collegues..

This ride will be a test of fitness for a lot of the guys but definately a lot of laughter along the way should help the miles pass..There will no doubt be a few pit stops along the way too!

Julian Allen posted his bike pic online and it’s prepped with a 44-15 chainring, 100 psi on the powerlocks and a high seatpost for his first ride back since his break at the Worlds in Birmingham. Props to Jules for getting involved especially after his injury.

Souvenir Tee shirts are available for £15 which includes an A3 print to go along with it. Pre order only! The design is sweet so well worth grabbing one even if you can’t make the event. These can be ordered by going to the FB page on this link and sending a message:

We’ll update plenty of pics from the ride…….It’s still not too late to get signed up! Follow the FB page and get involved. Sponsorship forms are available still, or even a donation on the day to join in the fun is grately appreciated.
