New release from Schwalbe..
In 2012, the year of the Olympic Games, Schwalbe will introduce a light high-end competition tyre for BMX racing, which has been part of the Olympics since 2008. The Shredda is all about minimum weight and maximum speed: with the delicate, flexible 127 EPI carcass, the PaceStar triple compound and a weight of 250g, Shredda is a must-have. Schwalbe used all of its expertise gained from ten-odd years as the market leader in mountain bike tyres to develop this competition tyre. In BMX racing, Schwalbe sponsors the BMX Air Team, two members of which qualified for the Olympic Games. Virtually all German champions in different classes ride on Schwalbe tyres. The Shredda competition tyre costs around £40-£45 and will be available in specialty bicycle stores from 2013.

Well, since it´s a Kraut tyre i would´ve called it “Teh Shred-herh!”
Or even better – “The Reisswolf”
What anglo-influenced pussies has just become of us…
Hey, as beeing a German native speaker I need to comment that last post: This is non-sense! The first proposal doesn`t make sense at all and the second does not sound cool at all in German. The name in ace!
