ABD have announced their new and first ever UK race team, Ryan and Tom Bauer will be representing ABD as they both enter the Elite world circuit this year. These ABD frames are pretty fast looking and have been tried and tested by Sarah Walker and as well as sounding like they’re a good quality frame, they’re easy on they eyes as well. Below is the official press release from ABD/Paligap
“ABD Announce their first UK Race Team.
ABD bikes are pleased to announce the signing of brothers Ryan and Thomas Bauer who will form the companies first UK based factory supported race team.
The Bauer’s will be using the brand new 2012 ABD Team Issue frame sets which have been developed with the help of World Champion Sarah Walker. The Frame utilizes several new standards as well as the amazing new ABD 120 engagement rear hub.
Ryan and Thomas epitomize what is great about the sport of BMX racing in the way they live and breathe the sport. The Bauers were the obvious choice for the first ABD foray on UK shores. We hope that as ABD goes from strength to strength that the focused brothers will fulfill not only their ambitions on the track but also their support of all things ABD.
The newly turned Elite riders will contest all UEC BMX rounds, British National rounds and also the world championships which are being held in 2012 at the NIA Birmingham.
“ We are extremely pleased and excited that we have signed Thomas and Ryan, not only are they great ambassadors for the sport, I believe with ABD we will be able to get these guys to the top of their game “ remarked David Lane Paligap MD
Ryan and Thomas will keep the world up to speed with their ABD career on their dedicated Facebook and Twitter feeds as well as on the official www.abdbikes.com site.
