Just read this on Anthony Deans page-https://www.facebook.com/AnthonyDean144?fref=ts
“I Pulled Out Of Racing Tonight In Brisbane along with Sam W.. it was Beyond Dangerous out there with it Pouring Rain and riding a big track + taking a crash in practice! No one should have been riding in those conditions on such a track, Should have been postponed!! Too much to lose by risking getting Injured..”
If you click on his FB link above you can read the comments , it seems that the weather was absolutely atrocious with high winds and pouring rain but the BMXA officials decided to carry on with racing because there were VIP’S in attendance who wanted to see the racing !!??!!?
So after a big off in practice Anthony and Sam W pulled out deeming it to dangerous to ride , it would seem that they made the correct decision as racing was stopped after the first set of motos anyway.
Surely the BMXA officials should listen to seasoned BMX racers who know the risks rather than deciding to risk peoples wellbeing.
What do you think of this , should officials listen more to riders???
