With the 2012 season taking an early start this year, it means we can all get our shiny new bikes early, which is always fun. We caught up with Curtis Manaton for a look at his new Yess bike, these Yess frames are becoming more and more popular, especially in the U.K now that Ultimate Bike Shop are now bringing them in.
Frame: yess pro xl . Ive used a crupi frame for many years and loved every crupi frame i used . The only reason ive changed is because charlie phillips is now importing yess frames and asked me to try one and i really liked it and have decided to use it for the 2012 season.

Parts I go through most: brake pads and cable always need a good brake ! Grips : i like to use thin grips which means i wear through them pritty quick. Tyres : dont wear down too quick but i like to put some new ones on before a big race .
First race bike : my first bmx race bike was a chrome redline costing £150
Things I’m most particular about when setting up my bike: when i set up my bike i always have to have a good working brake. My chain has to be set at just the right tension not too tight not too loose and my wheel has to be as far forward in the drop outs as possible as i like my back end as short as i can get it.
