Club Cyclopark and South Region BMX Presents
2014 British BMX Series Round 2 & 3 April 12th – 13th.

Welcome
On arrival, you will be directed to the BMX car parking area or the On Site Camping entrance, depending on your arrangements for the weekend. You will be given a welcome pack including wristbands which must be worn for the duration of the event please.
Registration and Sign on Times
Registration for this event is via British Cycling’s online registration system. There is no paper pre- entry format, so for those not taking advantage of the online system, entry on Friday evening and Saturday morning will still be available.
 Registration will be available at the following times – Friday 11th April from 6pm until 8pm – Saturday 12th April 8.30am until 10.am – Sunday 13th April 8.30am until 9.30am  Cash or cheques made payable to British Cycling are acceptable.  You will pick up your event wristband at registration/sign on  Please Note – Riders with an injury certificate from the Medical Team / Hospital who are registered for Sunday racing can claim entry fee refund on Sunday from 8.30am until 9.30am – No certificate = no refund.

Male and Female up to 16: £15.00 (20” & 24”) .
Male and Female 17+ /Junior: £20.00 (20” & 24”) .
Elite Men £25.00.
On the Day (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) Entry:
 Male and Female up to 16: £20.00 per day .
Male and Female 17+ : £25.00 per day . 
Championship Men/Women £25.00 per day . 
Elite Men £30.00 per day .
Basic Rules – British BMX Series .
• BC BMX Specific and National Series Regulations apply. The Race Format will be as per National Series Regulations. Should there be any run offs to decide tied results after Moto 3 they will be run immediately after the Motos • The youngest category for riders using clipless pedals is13 years or above. • All competing riders must have a valid Silver or Gold membership and a 2014 British Cycling licence. No 2014 licence = No race • Non UK riders must have a valid 2014 UCI affiliated licence. No 2014 licence = No race • Elite Men and Championship Men will use all Pro sections • All other categories will use the Challenge sections. • Number Plates • The required background colour must be clearly visible around and in-between all numbers used. The background colour must not be cut down to follow the contours of a number, but may be cut to follow the design of the number plate or to form one straight line defining the edge of the background. • All riders must compete using their final standing from the 2013 British BMX Series. Exceptions are: 2013 British Champions 01 2013 World finalists Prefix W 2013 European finalists Prefix E Any rider not competing in the 2013 series Last 3 digits of your BC membership number Non UK riders – Bring your own plate and we will advise you if the number needs to change Championship and Elite riders may request a career number
Male 20” Yellow background – Black numbers.

Series Points
A rider’s best 8 results from 10 rounds will count for points. B Finals will only be run for classes with semi finals. GP classes will receive moto points for the first three motos and A final points based on the riders overall position after 4 motos.

Awards will be given to the top 3 in the following categories. Awards will be presented after each final.
Prize Money: Due to online entry, prize money may have to be paid after the event by British Cycling.

Schedule – Friday
• A copy of the pre registered riders will be posted – ALL riders must check the list and report anything that’s incorrect to registration • Riders not pre-registered must register by completing an on the day entry form. The signed entry form and payment must be handed in together when registering. • As soon as possible after registration closes a final pre-race list will be published of all riders by class on the display boards. It is the rider’s responsibility to check their entry and report any errors to Race Administration no later than 30 minutes before the start of racing. No changes will be accepted after that time and any incorrect entries may be disqualified.

Open Practice – Friday
This session is controlled by the host club and will cost all participants £5.00. All riders will be given a wristband which must be worn at all times. All participants must be valid British Cycling or international licence holders. All riders must have their number plate on their bike.
13 and under 2pm until 4pm .
14 and over 4pm until 6pm
All other rides 6.00pm until 8pm .

Please Note: Schedules: especially on Sunday racing will be run with minimum delay – it is the rider’s responsibility to listen to commentary for the start of the next round of racing. Outside these specified practice and race times the track will be closed. Marshals and First Aid will not be available outside of these times. Riders/Parents/Team Managers take full responsibility for any incidents that may occur.

Catering
Catering on-site is provided by CycloCafe – the official Cyclopark caterers
There will be several food points close to the track and the Cafe in the Pavilion will be open all weekend, including Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
There are lots of restaurants in the area and there is a Morrison’s supermarket next to the site.
Trading
All traders must book through Martin Baxter – please contact through cycloparkgazebos@aol.co.uk
No unauthorised trading is allowed and anyone doing so will be requested to leave the site.
Club/Team Areas
Several options will be available at all events. Trackside space can be requested by clubs and Elite Teams, but based on the number of clubs and teams requesting space, trackside space cannot be guaranteed. The host club/organiser will contact all current BC registered BMX clubs and teams with options and booking times.

Other Info
No dogs on site whatsoever No smoking on site – the designated smoking area is the main car park
The tickets for Camping, Gate Practice, Skatepark and Playpark during the National series are now available for purchase through 365 tickets above.
The doors will open for camping at 12.00pm on Friday 11th April. Please note that due to the layout of Cyclopark we will pitch caravans one behind the other around the circuit. If you wish to be pitched nearby friends you must arrive in the queue at the park behind your companions.
The car park will be charged at £6.00 per car for a weekend stay.
The Mountain Bike Trails and the Circuit will be closed for public use during this event.
