Here is a quick look at Danny C’s 2014 YESS frame , they have had quite a change up for this year , they have kept their trademark innovative design style , but I would say that this years model does slightly resemble a Pure, but with Yess’s thicker headtube and rear brace they have kept to their own “quirky” roots .
I really like this frame and I think it will turn a few heads and be a big hit on the race scene, i’m sure there will be a few of these on the UK tracks this year… here are a few pics and the spec for Danny’s rig.
Tech Notes: Included chain re-tensioning system (10mm) provides full-axle contact that can act as a frame saver, and allows both 10mm and 15mm(optional) axles to be mounted with minimal amount of hardware weight on the low-profile 3D CNC’d dropouts. This system allows the chain tension to be adjusted with a socket or ring wrench instead of trying to adjust from the sides with an open wrench. (Once locked in place, the excess set screw tail could be chopped, if the rider feels the need– or is obsessed with micro-adjusting the overall weight).
