Does a pro section make racing better or worse??

I read this tweet earlier from Johnathon Dominguez…

“So Manchester national was the first this year without a pro straight. Better or worse race action ?”

This years National series will see 2 tracks without Pro sections (Manchester and Gosport), do you think the Elite racing is as good without this??

I was at Manchester national this weekend , and the lack of a pro section did seem to make the Elite racing closer.
Pro sections do make for a great spectacle and test a riders skill , but sometimes i think they detract from the racing ,we all know that 99% of Elites can get through these sections, but it does not look good to see Elite riders rolling through big jumps because they got cut off or made a mistake on the approach to the jumps.
What do you think ?? are Pro sections good or bad??
