ALL BC Affiliated Teams have will be contacted for gazebo bookings. The team area will be positioned in the same area as last year, on grass next to track.
Club Gazebo booking:
Clubs are to be given priority of track side space; the cost for gazebo space is £5.00 per 3mx3m area. (Set by BC) To book club space please email the following information to email@example.com
Size of space required.
Name of person making booking.
The person making the booking is responsible for paying.
Payment should be made at the entrance to the tuck shop on arrival and before any gazebos are erected, you will be given a receipt, please hang this on your gazebo as proof of payment. (One receipt per 3x3m will be provided)
Bookings will close when full and this will be announced as soon as that happens, a short time later a list will be listed on BMXtalk of the area your gazebo will be placed.
Positions will be first come first served.
Your space will be marked out and will have your club name in it; this will be your space for the whole of the weekend.
Camping and car parking:
Camp site will open on Thursday and will cost £10 per night (£20 for the weekend, £10 per extra night, this is set but the school who’s field we are using). The campsite must be vacated by 8pm Sunday evening. Camping will be located in the school field off Military Road, buy the cocked hat pub. (Post code for the pub PO12 3TR). There is a short walk down a cycle path to the track and there will be crossing patrols on both roads, to ensure peoples safety. Also for those who don’t want to walk or have a lot of equipment to carry, there will be a mini bus running from the campsite to the track and back.
Entrance to site will be manned 24 hours a day.
All campers will be provided with rubbish bags, please dispose of in allocated area.
Security will be provided overnight on Friday and Saturday. Please be vigilant.
Car parking will be located at HMS Sultan Polo Fields (opposite normal track entrance) and will be clearly signposted and cost £6 for the weekend. (Entrance to be decided). This enables the club to keep the track area free of vehicles (except nessacery team/officials vehicles).
Catering & Licensed Bar facilities:
We will be providing a normal burger van selling extras’ such as jacket potatoes, chilli and rice, as well as a new caterer offering Asian style noodles. The burger van owner is looking at providing hot food for breakfast and tea at the campsite as well as well as the track.
Our Italian coffee van will also be on site.
We are hoping to lay on a licensed bar facility at the track area (subject to license approval) open between the following times.
Fri 12th Aug 4pm – 8pm ( local rider and DJ will be spinning some tunes during gate practise )
Sat 13th Aug 11am – 7pm
Sun 14th Aug 11am – 6pm
We are trying to create a café style environment, not a Friday night binge session. Anyone found to be drunk/offensive or supplying alcohol to under 18’s will be arrested. We will then ask British Cycling to disqualify that person/s from the weekends races.
Gosport BMX Tuck shop will be open for cold drinks, snacks and lots of other lovely treats. (No hot drinks or hot food)
Bouncy castles and the impossible bike are also here.
Groove racing shop, Shoevegas, Trevor Pope Motorcycles, Ladies handmade jewellery and henna tattooist, as well as a company called Feet wave (www.feetwave.co.uk ) will be onsite, as well as other retailers.
There are local shops and take-aways in Privett Road There is also a cashpoint at the Tesco Express in Grange Road and the Co-op in Privett Road. The nearest Supermarket is Asda Dock Road, Gosport or Newgate Lane, Fareham.
There will be daytime entertainment around the track area, loads of fun stuff and much more over the weekend.

National Ranking. Ranking gained in 2010 if in a single age band. If moving up into a new multi- year age group, then you may need an “X” after your ranking number.
Membership Number. A rider’s membership number is 6 digits long. The last 3 digits can be used
British Champion: 01 (only in the category that the title was gained)
European Champion E1-E8 (only in the category that the title was gained)
World Champion W1-W8 (only in the category that the title was gained)
UCI Career number only available to riders who have applied to UCI via BC
Using a number in the category gained includes for example, a 20″ rider aged 15 winning the British title using the 01 plate in the following year as a 16 year old.
The colour of the number plates used in 2011 will be as per UCI/UEC:
Male 20″ Yellow with black numbers
Junior Men: Black with white numbers
Championship female: Black with white numbers
Elite Men: White with black numbers
Female 20″ Blue with white numbers
All Cruiser Red with white numbers
The top 3 riders in all 20″ categories for ages 12 and under will receive a trophy or souvenir plate at each round awarded via a podium presentation. The top 8 Elite Men and Championship Women and top 3 Junior Men will receive cash prizes at all rounds. Prize money will be £1,000 per round for Elite Men, £350 for Championship Women and £150 for Junior Men.

The track will remain closed until official practice begins due to top level coaching being avalible. Practice is from 4.30pm until 8pm. Cost is £3 per rider. Each rider will be provided with a band as proof of payment.
