Ivo van der Putten #666

Ivo Van Der Putten is the “showman” of the Dutch Redline Army. His career number is 666 and that says it all. He’s the “Krazy” guy in the Dutch camp who keep’s everyone entertained on and off the track. He was the first rider over the box jump in Papendaal, he’s the type of rider who’ll hit the pro section first lap cold. If there’s an “impossible” line in a section he’ll make it “possible”. I’ve seen Ivo pull of some serious lines in practice sessions at Euro races. Not because he needs to but just because he wants to! A “showman” for sure which makes him a crowd favourite. A couple of years a go at a Euro round in France he decided to try to jump a huge step up stepdown as a quad at the end of the first straight right before racing started. He went down hard snapping his femur in the process. He came back from is injury and even took a big SX win the following season. We are looking forward to seeing him in the UK at the World Championships and possibly the Olympics once the Netherlands team is announced. Look out for rider “666” out on the track!
