As 2014 draws to a close the 2nd season of Ogden racing supported by identiti bikes gives us there run down of the season,
Ogden racing stemmed from an idea of separating the identiti factory team and set up a grass roots team program for young riders to showcase their talents and get help along the way from the team manager Martin Ogden.
As team manager of the Ogden racing team this year has been pretty epic, with the help from identiti bikes a new team line up was drafted in, this year I for sure made some good choices, all of the team have been little characters in their own right and have given 110% effort on the track
The team ended up with a lot of single digit plates to carry into the 2015 season which is what every rider aspires to, myself coming runner up in both vets and cruiser kinda sucks but the worlds made up for it coming away with a W7 was pretty special even if did land on my head again, least I made it past the semis this time
Syd allen trying to walk in his dads footsteps in the bmx world and looking better on track ha, ended the year with a number 3 plate and on the podium at the end of the national series.
Dan commons year started off badly with a pre-season injury but as the year progressed so did dans results. He will be stronger next year and making some A finals
Charlie giles came away at the of the year with a cruiser number 4 plate and some storming results on 20inch, will Charlie be back next year?? I hope so
Josh Matthews is exciting on and off track and never a dull moment in the team pits, josh is coming back in 2015 in championship male
Lana redgewell stayed on the team from 2013 after some impressive results, 2014 saw lana have some euro round podiums and keeps her place as chief shirt designer
Not forgetting young rocco brant, rocco came on to the team late in the season as an ornery member, he had some great races on track and always dug deep and always made everyone laugh in the team pits, rocco will moving on to a new team, so we all at Ogden racing wish him all the best for the future
2015 team line remains unchanged some of the components the team use will change a little bit, more news on that to follow.
For this year none of this would have been possible without the help from some of the best component companies out there, identiti bikes, Halo wheels, Schwalbe tires, Gusset, Renthal, ODI, Answer forks, New love club clothing, Horizon watches, Royal Racing, 100%, Stay Strong, Hedcamz , Time pedals and 5/10 shoes so a huge thanks to them from all the team.
BMXTalk would like to wish Ogden Racing a merry Christmas and all the best for the 2015 season.
