Word on the street is that you are running a new frame for the 2015
season. What frame are we going to be seeing you on this year?
I’m currently trying out a Pure XXXL frame.

How did that all come about?
I got a bit too big for my last frame (FTB Elite Pro XXL with 22″ TT).
Luckily Kyle Evans had his old Pure frame with 23″ TT going spare that he kindly lent
to me to test out. I fell in love with it straight away, the right fit and very
stiff and even PB’d on my first gate on it!

Have you still got the full support from Team Hard?
Yep! Dan Sturgeon is a great guy to be working with, always wanting the
best for his riders. And the vibe you get off the team is perfect, so I wouldn’t change
a thing at the moment.

Has running a different brand frame actually changed anything for you?
Not a thing! It’s been an easy change over and everyone’s been really
understanding.

You have been associated with Mike Wong through Dialled Bikes and FTB for
a while now. And it seems that you still have family connections with younger
brothers still repping, is there anything you would like to say about Dialled and FTB?
I’ve been on Mike’s frames for over 6 years now even helping to develop
the Elite frame. Mike has been great to me over the years with his support. I
absolutely love his frames and been very successful on them. I do recommend them! If FTB
starts making frames big enough for me I wouldn’t hesitate to get back on it.

What’s your current plans for 2015. What races are you going to be
attending?
Training has gone really well over winter so that’s put me in a good
position to get stuck in there in my first year of a Elite!

I’m down for the first European Rounds in Belgium and the World Cup in
Manchester. Not sure on anything else past that just yet… I guess it’s depends how
well I go at these upcoming races and training will determine the rest of my season.

Any last words / thanks?
Big thanks to Mike Wong again for his support over the last 6 years. Dan,
Nigel & Edwardes Cycles for sorting everything out with the team this season and getting
everything I need!

Word on the street is that you are running a new frame for the 2015 season. What frame are we going to be seeing you on this year?
I’m running a Prophecy this year.

How did that all come about?
I simply fancied trying out a carbon frame this year and Dan Sturgeon had read a carbon frame shootout and mentioned the Prophecy as they came out on top.

What are the reasons for the change up?
The way things are moving forwards in BMX today the carbon frames are becoming more and more popular and the Prophecy took my fancy.

Have you still got the full support from Team Hard?
I still get massive help from both Team Hard and Edwardes and also Scott from Get Racing for helping me out with the frame. Very happy to still be part of the Team HARD Edwardes family for 2015.

Has running a different brand frame actually changed anything for you?
Not really, but it’s really light and easy to throw about, but a race on it this weekend will see how it proves.

You have been associated with Mike Wong through Dialled Bikes and FTB for a while now. And it seems that you still have family connections with younger brothers still repping, is there anything you would like to say about Dialled and FTB?
Yeah, big thanks to Mike Wong and Dan for the frames. I’ve had a lot of good times on a FTB (W3!!) and really enjoyed riding them.

What’s your current plans for 2015. What races are you going to be attending?
I’m hoping to attend all the UCI World Cups and World Champs. Also the European rounds that need to be attended.

Any last words / thanks?
Big Thanks to Team Hard and Edwardes Cycles, also Madison and Troy Lee Design for their support.
