Top 5 tracks time……This week Stockwells finest BMX racer Shane Francis gives us the lowdown on his favourite tracks.
From what I hear Shane has been doing gate practice down at Burgess Park and running monster gearings , and by all accounts he has got some serious PULL !!! , so watch out for him and his Haro bike on the 2014 National series.
Shane Francis- I’ve been doing Bmx racing for 5 years competing around the country I’m 18 years old I live in Stockwell,South London.
I’m sponsored by Haro 365 national team;)
1:Peckham BMX track.
Peckham is my home track, I like it because its different from other tracks, it’s bit of technical and basic around the track. The pro section is a really good big jump….. but once your over it it’s a good feeling.
2:Manchester indoor BMX track
Very technical track ,it’s a good experience riding a indoor track ,everything feels different , it has good Rhythm straights and is a very good track to ride.
3:Cyclo park BMX track .
Another technical track, got every jump you can think of and the jumps come up very quickly ,so I have to be focus specially on the rhythm lol but apart from that it’s a very nice track to ride on.
4.Birmingham BMX track
This track is fast and nice to ride on, it’s got good jumps, and good berms to do different lines on ,it has a good pro section and is a fun track to ride on.
5: Manchester outdoor
Another good track, I like most jumps on each straight, it’s got a good set of doubles on third straight, nice kind of rhythm to jump through the doubles and it’s a good track to build up skill levels. I hope you like my top 5 tracks 😉 .
Cheers Shane , good luck with the 2014 season from BMXTalk HQ.
