Day 1 of rounds 3+4 of the national series here at a very windy Cyclopark. Psykopath industries started off with the cruiser riders, Albie Hopes was unfortunate and missed out on making the 17-29 main. Similar scenario with Neil Hopes in the 45+ category. Dan Hodge made the 17-29 final and took 7th. We then moved on to our little pockets rockets In the 6 and under Oliver Copping who rode like the wind and took the win. Bax in the male 11 came home with a well deserved 5th after having trouble with his gates all day. Male 12 and Jamie Phillips was having the ride of his life and took home his best result yet well deserved 4th in the final. Miss come back Webber gave the girls a shock in the 11-12 female and hit the podium and got 3rd. Block 2 hit the track in the 16 male Dan leak was unfortunate in just missing that all important spot in the semi to make the main. Leak Was on a mission down the 3rd straight in his B final and got caught up in a crash on the 3rd straight. Hodge and Little made 1/4 in a tough 17-29 class, but were unfortunate to continue. But a solid ride from both.

So day 2 kicked off. Again starting with the cruisers. Neil Hopes was unfortunate and had an early finish in the 45+ cruiser class which is not like him. Albie Hopes and Hodge were safe and though to the 17-29 cruiser main with some tough motos. Hopes finished 6th with Hodge taking 5th. 6 and under Ollie copping made the final but had some work to do as he wasn’t the best out of the gate. But the power and smoothness from copping made him cruise through the field to take another win. Bax sorted his gates and had a solid semi final win, final time came and Bax had a bit of a squeeze on the first straight. To take home 6th in the 11 male. Lydia Webber safe battled through the field to make the main in the 11-12 female category and pushed all the way to the line for a photo finish for 4th. Phillps on fire all day but was squeezed down the 1st straight in his semi and was just not close enough to grab the qualifying position but did the next best thing and won his B final. Leak safe though to semis but was on a charge for 4th place in the 16s but just ran out of track. Picked himself up to take home a 2nd in the B final. Hodge and little had some solid motos. But didn’t make it passed the quarter finals. All in all a fantastic weekend all round despite the windy conditions. Great riding and great company. Huge thanks to those who support us.
