As the build gets underway at the NIA for the 2012 UCI BMX World Championships, it’s time for us to show you a first glimpse of the track as the work has started… The heavy machinery will be put to work over the next few days as Clark and Kent Contractors work alongside Pete Phillips and Tom Ritz to deliver the playing feld for the big event.
We moved into the NIA on Sunday and got straight to work with the lighting, a completely new rig is coming in for the worlds that will enable us to do some pretty special stuff in and around the racing. One the lighting was lifted into place the dirt was moved in and jumps and corners are already being shaped…
