Currently I have disc brake kits for Stealth, Onyx, and Profile disc brake hubs with 10mm axles for frames with standard style rear dropouts, along with kits specifically for Staats Bloodline frames that have vertical dropouts that work in conjunction with the above mentioned disc hubs but also accommodating those with 15 & 20mm axles.
I welcome orders for custom applications if needed by the customer to work around certain frames or components.
I am working on designing more caliper brackets to work with the larger 15 & 20mm axles that most frames manufacturers are coming out with that have dropout axle reducer plates, which I also fabricate.
Currently I am designing my own stainless steel disc rotors and soon will be testing a carbon fiber rotor, also of my own design, but these will be made in a smaller size than the 140mm rotors which are the smallest currently available.
The advantages my hydraulic disc brake kits offer are they offer unsurpassed brake modulation which is effortless with one finger operation along with the benefit of working in all adverse weather conditions.
The system is the most consistent brakes everytime the brake lever is squeezed compared to v-brakes which are not consistent and are always in need of fiddling with not to mention the troubles involved with setting those up. My brake system is a “set it and forget it” setup which doesn’t require any frame modifications and is very easy to setup. Once a rear disc hub is laced into a wheel, the hydraulic brake systems come pre bled (may need to have the hydraulic hose shortened, which most any reputable bike shop can perform or I can offer that service as well) the entire brake setup can be installed in minutes.
